Enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast at the hotel before meeting your accredited Egyptologist guide to begin your first Cairo excursion. Today, we'll explore the Old Kingdom necropolis in Saqqara and the Giza Plateau. Additionally, we'll visit the site of Egypt's first capital, approximately 5000 years ago.
Next, ascend to a vantage point for an optional camel ride at the Giza Pyramids. Your Bedouin guide will skillfully capture impressive and memorable photos for you during the ride.
Next, we will visit the Great Sphinx, an iconic man-headed lion statue standing at a height of 73 meters. Additionally, we will explore the Valley Temple, an intriguing component of King Chephren's ancient funerary complex.
Your driver will transport you to the Saqqara Necropolis, approximately 45 minutes from Cairo, where you will discover the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt: the Step Pyramid. Built by the renowned architect Imhotep for King Djoser of the 3rd dynasty, this pyramid marks a significant transition in the evolution of royal burial tombs.
We have the option to enter the Pyramid of Teti, who ruled during the 6th dynasty, as well as the tomb of his son-in-law, Kagemni. Kagemni's tomb is renowned among nobles for its impressive wealth of offerings and detailed hunting scenes inscribed on its well-preserved walls.
Enjoy a delightful lunch at a high-quality restaurant before heading to Memphis, now known as Mit Rahina. Explore its open-air museum showcasing remarkable artifacts, including the alabaster sphinx of Memphis and the colossal statue of Ramses II. Ramses II

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your expert tour guide to embark on your day trip from Cairo to Alexandria. The journey takes approximately 3 hours along the Alexandria Desert Road, with a coffee break included. Upon arrival, you will be captivated by the charm of Alexandria
First, you will visit Pompey's Pillar, situated within the remains of the Serapeum of Alexandria. Then, you will proceed to the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an ancient burial site consisting of three levels underground. Inside, you'll find a blend of Pharaonic and Greco-Roman art and architectural styles beautifully ornamented.
Next, we will head to the Citadel of Qaitbay, constructed using stones from the ancient Lighthouse of Pharos. En route, we will pass by the modern Bibliotheca of Alexandria before enjoying a delightful seafood lunch at a restaurant overlooking the sea.
We will then return to Cairo by vehicle for an overnight stay.

Continue your Cairo excursions with a visit to the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval fortification erected by the Muslim Sultan Saladin Al Ayyubi. Marvel at the imposing towers before entering the exquisite Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali nestled within. Constructed in the 12th century, the citadel served as Egypt's seat of power for nearly 700 years. The mosque, built in 1805 and completed posthumously by Muhammad Ali's son and successor, continued the dynasty's rule until the Egyptian revolution in 1952.
After enjoying a delicious lunch, you will be transferred to Khan El Khalili bazaar, Cairo's oldest market, for an extraordinary shopping experience.
After your day of exploration, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.
