For sightseeing purposes in Egypt, a duration of 7 to 10 days will be most appropriate for your Egypt vacation packages. This gives enough time to see places like Cairo, the Pyramids, Luxor, Aswan, and the Nile, with some time for rest as well. If you want to go into more detail, you can opt to spend 14 days in Egypt.
It is quite possible to travel around Egypt in a period of four days as all the major cities will be covered under your trips to Egypt. A typical tour includes a visit to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, and a quick trip to the Valley of Kings in Luxor. However short it may seem, it is still possible to get a feel for Egypt.
Of course, most of the travel packages designed for Egypt incorporate both ancient Egypt and modern sites in their Egypt tours. For example, one may visit places including the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum while enjoying other modern sites in the capital city, like Cairo Tower and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Hence, one can enjoy the history as well as current activities.
The Red Sea should be incorporated into your Egypt tour packages thanks to its breathtaking white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and enchanting coral reefs. It is an ideal destination for snorkelers and divers, presenting a perfect blend of adventure and resort relaxation where one can enjoy having fun underwater.
Of course, several travel options offered by Happy Egypt feature safari excursions to get a general overview of the beautiful deserted parts of Egypt. These usually include fun-filled activities such as dune bashing and camping in places like the white desert and different oases, hence making the tour interesting and exhilarating.
Day excursions offered in Egypt may include the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Egypt day tours include Coptic Cairo and Khan El Khalili Bazaar which give the guests both history and shopping opportunities. If requested also other sites like Saqqara, Memphis, or a short Nile cruise might be arranged according to the tour.
During an Egypt tour, it is advised to wear comfortable clothing with light, unrestrictive clothes, especially during hot weather. The must-have items are a hat, sunglasses, sun protection lotion, appropriate footwear for the walk, and a refillable water bottle to avoid dehydration. If you plan on visiting shrines and temples where women must cover their heads, be sure to wear something on your head like a headscarf in the car.
