The Giza pyramids and Great Sphinx
The Giza pyramids are located in the vast desert, also known as the Land of the Dead. Guarded by the Great Sphinx, the plateau is dominated by the massive pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. The graveyard and the Town of the Pyramid Builders are located south of the Great Sphinx.
You will have your lunch meal first before proceeding to the Sakkara area to visit the Sakkara Complex and the first pyramid ever built, the Djoser Pyramid. At the end of your tour, you will go back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Have your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, and then you will be going with your private tour guide to visit the Egyptian Museum and Islamic Cairo.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. It includes more than 120 thousand archaeological pieces on display, and the rest are in storage. The museum includes some coins and papyrus, as well as some artifacts from the New Kingdom. There are some artifacts from dynasties 29 and 30, with some items from the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, in particular, the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamon.
Note: The mummies’ room has a private ticket.
Then, you will proceed to Saladin Citadel, which is the most visited Islamic spot in Cairo. The citadel was built during the time of Saladin in Egypt (1176–1183). It was constructed in a highly strategic location with the primary goal of defending Cairo. During the 19th century, Mohamed Ali built his popular mosque there, which is known as the Mohamed Ali Mosque.
After touring the Citadel, your next stop will be Khan El Khalili, the largest bazaar and market in the Middle East. It represents the market tradition that established Cairo as a major trade center. Khan El Khalili was located in the middle of Cairo, and some commercial establishments were built nearby. You will find a big collection of shops, workshops, and coffee shops there.
At the end of your Cairo tour, you will transfer back to the hotel to rest.
