Tour itinerary
Day 01 Arival in Cairo
Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be greeted by an English speaking tour guide in a private air-conditioned car. Your Happy Egypt guide will assist you with quick check-in, review your honeymoon itinerary with you, and confirm tour dates. You will be offered a welcome drink at the hotel.
Day 02 Visiting the Giza pyramids and Memphis
After breakfast, start your tour to the Pyramids of Giza where you will enjoy viewing the massive structures built by the great Egyptian pharaohs Khufu Khafre, and Mycerinus. The three pyramids are built according to a star cluster with the main entrance in the north serving as burial tombs for kings The largest is the Pyramid of Khufu and your tour guide will explain to you the details of the construction of these great pyramids
Proceed to the high spot to enjoy camel riding in Giza Pyramids (optional) and your Bedouin guide will capture impressive tricky photos for you.
Now we will see the Great Sphinx, the man-headed lion figure which is 73 meters tall and we will also enter the Valley Temple which is another interesting part of the funerary complex of King Chephren.
Have lunch at one of the upscale restaurants, then move to Memphis, now known as Met Rahina, to visit the open-air museum and check out its amazing antiques. Don't miss the marble Sphinx and the colossal statue of Ramesses II, who was pharaoh of the New Kingdom and owner of the Abu Simbel temples in Aswan.
Day 03 Egyptian Civilization Museum & Suez Canal
Have breakfast at the hotel restaurant in Cairo, then prepare for your day tours. You will meet your Egyptologist guide to begin your tour at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which is the first museum in the Arab world to focus on ancient Egyptian civilization. The museum contains a large collection of artifacts, including 20 royal mummies and treasures from the Greek, Roman and Coptic eras
You will transfer to Ismailia to visit the Suez Canal the waterway connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea You can take a cruise or observe the ships from the observation decks You can also explore nearby historical sites such as the City of Suez the Port Said Museum and the Ismailia Museum (optional).
Day 04 Alexandria
After breakfast at the hotel, our guide and personal driver will meet you to continue your journey to Alexandria from Cairo. Alexander the Great founded the city in 332 BC, making it the capital of Egypt for nearly 1,000 years.
Upon arrival your tour will begin with a visit to the Tombs of Kom el Shoqafa then you will move to the Column of Pompey the tallest column in Egypt which was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian You'll also visit the famous Library of Alexandria then enjoy views of the Mediterranean at Qaitbay Citadel built on the ruins of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse your tour ends with a visit to Abu Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque, one of the most important Islamic landmarks in the city
You will enjoy traditional Egyptian food before spending the night in Alexandria.
Day 05 El Alamein city
After breakfast at the hotel in Alexandria you will transfer to the nearby city of El Alamein El Alamein is considered a coastal city in the Matrouh Governorate on the Mediterranean Sea, and is famous for its historical location as the scene of the Battle of El Alamein during World War II
In recent years El Alamein has developed significantly especially in the tourism sector with the construction of luxury resorts and the expansion of infrastructure The city has become a popular destination for exploring the beaches and historical sites such as the El Alamein War Cemetery and Museum which commemorates soldiers who fell in battle.
Day 06 Final Departure
After taking your last gourmet breakfast at the hotel during your Tours in Egypt, you can enjoy one of our optional Cairo day tours. According to the agreed pick-up time, our representative will come and transfer you to Cairo International Airport for the final departure.
