You will be met upon arrival at Cairo Airport by one of our representatives and transferred to your hotel for a three-night stay.
Today we visit one of the most important tourist sites in Egypt, here we will explore the wonderous Giza Plateau and marvel at the Great Pyramids and Sphinx . Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure along with the mysterious Sphinx which is believed to guard them. Optional tours of the Solar Boat Museum, Pyramids Sound and Light show. Are available on request.
We will then proceed to Saqqara the site of the Step Pyramid, the first proper pyramid built by the architect Imhotep for King Djoser in the 27 th Century B.C.

Today we will visit the impressive Egyptian Museum. This museum is located in the heart of Cairo and houses thousands of magnificent antiques from Egyptian history including exceptional treasures from some of the most famous Pharaohs. We will then pay a visit to the Citadel of Salah ad-Din (Saladin). Built between 1176 and 1182 AD. The citadel is home three mosques and four museums. The Citadel fortress provides stunning views of Cairo.
We will end our tour with a visit to the largest bazaar (souk) in the Middle East, the popular bazaar of Khan El Khalili is famous for its herbs, spices, leather goods, and very large range of incense.

Today we transfer to Cairo Airport for our flight to Luxor where we will join our cruise ship for a seven-night cruise. (All inclusive) After lunch on board we will visit the impressive Temple of Karnak and the majestic Luxor Temple on the East Bank. The two temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad, Amun, Mut and Khonsu and were connected by a Sphinx Avenue which you can see being excavated today.
You will spend overnight moored in Luxor. Optional tours of a Hot Air Balloon ride over the west Bank, Karnak Sound and Light Show, Luxor city tour by horse and carriage. Are available on request.
Our visit today will see us crossing over to the West Bank of the Nile to explore the spectacular Valley of the Kings. Sixty-four tombs have been found so far in the Valley of the Kings, and all of them are cut deep into the rock. The largest tombs are for Seti I, Ramses III, Horemheb, Merenptah, and Hatshepsut. Not all tombs are open to the public, your guide will advise you on those which can be viewed and those which require the purchase of additional tickets.
We will then proceed to the unique Mortuary Temple Hatshepsut. This is the only temple in Egypt which was built with three terraces. Hatshepsut built the temple to confirm her status as the pharaoh of Egypt. We will end this tour at the Colossi of Memnon where you will be able to take photographs of these magnificent statues.
On our return to the cruise ship we will set sail to Edfu via the Esna Lock and spend overnight moored in Edfu.
In the morning we will take a horse carriage to visit the temple of Edfu, which is dedicated to the god Horus. Edfu the most intact temple in Egypt. It was built during the Greco-Roman Period. We then set sail to Kom Ombo and an afternoon visit its temple. This temple is dedicated to the falcon headed god Horus and the crocodile headed god Sobek.
We then continue sailing to Aswan. Overnight moored in Aswan.
Today we will explore the Aswan highlights visiting the Granite Quarry where you will discover how the ancient Egyptians cut and modelled a single piece of granite to create statues and obelisks. You will have the opportunity to view the Unfinished Obelisk which lays in the quarry today. We will then proceed to the High Dam which was built during the time of the president Nasser. We will end our tour with a motorboat ride to the Island of Philae to visit to the Pearl of Egypt, the temple of the goddess ISIS. We will return to our cruise boat for lunch. After lunch we will take a relaxing felucca sailboat ride around Elephantine Island and the Botanical gardens.
