Tour itinerary

Day 01 Giza Pyramids, Grand Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili

Start your journey with an early morning flight from Luxor to Cairo.

Upon arrival in Cairo, you'll be greeted by Happy Egypt guide and driver who will accompany you throughout your tour.

The Giza pyramids and Sphinx:

Full day Cairo to the pyramids and the sphinx, the Giza plateau in the vast desert, the land of the dead. Guarded by the Great Sphinx, the plateau is dominated by the massive pyramids of Giza  Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. To the south of the Great Sphinx lie the cemetery and the Town of the Pyramids Builders. Discover it in Egypt day tours.

The Giza pyramids are indeed remarkable feats of engineering. But the question is “Why were the pyramids constructed?”.

The pyramids were constructed in the 4th dynasty, but Giza remained important through the New Kingdom and the 3rd intermediate period.

There are so many theories about the techniques of the construction of the pyramids.

Notes: Tickets of entry inside the pyramids aren’t included.

The Grand Egyptian Museum:

Explore the world’s largest collection of ancient Egyptian treasures in one stunning modern complex. You’ll stand face to face with the Tutankhamun collection and enjoy immersive galleries that bring Egypt’s history to life. Then, transfer to Cairo Airport to final departure.

Lunch: Enjoy a delicious Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample traditional dishes such as koshari, falafel, or grilled kebabs

Khan El Khalili:

Khan el Khalili is the largest bazaar and market in the Middle East. It represents the market tradition that established Cairo as a major trade center. Khan was located in the middle of Cairo, and some commercial establishments were built nearby.

There is a big collection of shops, workshops, and coffee shops

Day 02 Alexandria Tour

Your guide will meet you at the reception of your hotel to start your three-hour journey to Alexandria.

Alexandria is the second-largest city of Egypt with a population of more than 15 million people. It was the capital of Egypt during the Graeco-Roman period and the center of the Hellenistic civilization for about 500 years. During your Egypt day tour, you can visit attractions in Alexandria such as:

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa:

Archeologists believe that the Catacomb of Kom el Shoqafa was started in the 2nd century A.D. and was used to intern the dead for the next 200 years. This was a period in the history of the city of Alexandria when there was a great mixture of different cultures. Of course, there was the ancient history of the great Egyptian kingdoms which went back thousands of years. Also in 332 B.C. Alexander the Great had conquered the land, established the city of Alexandria and started a dynasty of Greek rulers who brought their own culture to the metropolis. Finally, in 31 B.C. the Romans took control of the city and added their traditions. Happy Egypt gives you the opportunity to know that

The Citadel of Qaitbay:

The citadel of Qaitbay was built in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Seif El-Din Qaitbay.

The citadel was built on the site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria, which was one of the seven wonders of the Ancient world.

Sultan Qaitbay was born in 1423 AD. He was a Mamluke bought by Al-Ashraf Bersbay. Then Sultan Djamqaq bought him and give him freedom. Qaitbay occupied various posts. He was the chief of the army during the rule of Sultan Tamar Bougha. When Sultan was dethroned, Qaitbay was appointed as a Sultan in 1468 AD and ruled for about 29 years.

Qaitbay was fond of art and architecture. The construction of this citadel started in 882 AH. Know more information during your trip to alexandria from Cairo.

The Library of Alexandria:

you will visit The Library of Alexandria from the outside. It is one of the largest libraries in the world and is one of the largest Alexandria sightseeing that you can visit. Located on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a commemoration of the Library of Alexandria, which was lost in antiquity, and an attempt to revive something of the brilliance that this former center of study represented. The library was officially inaugurated in 2002. It contains books in Arabic, English, and French.

In 2010, the library received a donation of 500,000 books from the National Library of France. The library as well has a very important Internet Archive Partnership to preserve heritage for future generations and to provide universal access to human knowledge. The library provides access to print-on-demand books via the Espresso Book Machine.

We took a ride in the village of Slavia, but I couldn't find an option to review this activity
Because it is temporary so I found this company on the Internet, customer service staff is good, but the only US is not enough is that he can only brush cards online can not pay cash, hope to have the option of paying cash

We had a great afternoon
Leading our guide Ahmed people are good, we because of the previous trip delayed time, let him wait for us a while on the boat, up to the boat to discover the entire boat only us, he also gave us water and drinks, we saw the sunset on the boat to take pictures very carefully, the road Ahmed like we told the surrounding view, some understand some not understand, but this is the charm of travel
Finally arrived at the place where Ahmed was very good to support us in the upper edge, the youth who carried the rope was also reassured to give us, but there was no stubborn edge in the back of the supervision, on the road we would run for a while and walk very self-sufficient, in his body we were afraid and excited, and finally walked into the village of slavery, we went to eat slavery bread with black sugar and adult food, that servant and our soy milk taste super like soy milk, also drank black tea, because Arab coffee is interested so we also tried, the taste is very special. Finally we went to the school in Slavia for a class, really a classroom, we quickly learned some Arabic and Slavic, really too hard, but very happy, if not to rush back and gather, really want to slow down the whole village
