Your day will start with a tasty breakfast buffet at the hotel followed by the meeting of your professional Egyptologist guide for an ancient Egypt unforgettable exploration.
The Great Pyramid of Giza, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is located at the Giza Plateau where your journey begins. Take beautiful pictures and perhaps even participate in an optional camel ride that’s being led by a friendly Bedouin who will ensure you get memorable holiday photos. Next on the trip is the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple — magnificent representations of Egypt’s glorious past.
After that, head over to Saqqara Necropolis where the Step Pyramid of King Djoser—the world’s first stone pyramid—is waiting to be viewed. After having a nice breakfast at the hotel, you are going to meet your expert tour guide who will take you on a day trip from Cairo to Alexandria. The ride takes around 3 hours via the Alexandria Desert Road with a coffee break on the way. When you get there, you will be entranced by the beauty of Christmas in Alexandria Egypt.
First of all, visit the giant column dedicated to the Roman governor Pompey, located inside the ruins of the Serapeum of Alexandria. Then new stop: Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, an old underground tomb made up of three levels and containing a stunning fusion of Pharaonic and Greco-Roman art and architecture.
Then, your next destination is the Citadel of Qaitbay, which was constructed using the stones from the old Lighthouse of Pharos. While on the way, you will see the modern Bibliotheca of Alexandria and afterwards, have a nice seafood lunch at a restaurant with a nice sea view.
When you finish, you will be driven back to Cairo for an overnight stay, and so, the memorable experience of Egypt over Christmas will be completed.

After having breakfast at the hotel, your guide will meet you to commence the day tour in Cairo with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. The museum displays the largest collection of ancient artifacts, one of which has been open to the public since 1902, and explore its extensive history.
You will then go to the Citadel of Saladin as the next destination for your Cairo sightseeing. It is a medieval stronghold that was built by the Islamic Sultan Saladin Al Ayyubi. You will be amazed by the giant towers and then go into the magnificent Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali located within the fort. The citadel, built in the 12th century, was the center of Egyptian power for almost 700 years. The mosque that was completed in 1805 and continued the dynasty's ruling until the Egyptian revolution in 1952, was the successor of Muhammad Ali's son who died before the completion of the mosque.
After having a tasty lunch, you will then be taken to Khan El Khalili bazaar, the oldest market in Cairo, for a unique shopping experience, which is the most visited location in Cairo.
At the end of the day, you will be taken back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
