A day trip to Luxor from El Gouna During your Egypt day tour is possible, but it involves a considerable amount of travel due to the distance between the two locations.
Explore the magnificent highlights of Luxor (ancient Thebes) as; the Valley of the Kings, the temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, the Karnak temple, and Luxor temple. This tour will make you fall in love with Egypt tours that never end with their magic and beauty. Your lunch will be served at a local restaurant. On Egypt day tours, you will have the opportunity to visit Luxor.
Early Morning: El Gouna is for us. Go for the next bus to Luxor in the first half of the day, 5 or 6 am, when it’s still the morning and you will observe more.
Bus and private car rides, an average of three to four hours are taken whether traffic congestion and road conditions are considered. Late Morning: My journey had been a roller coaster ride so far, and it felt like everything was going at the same time.
The bus will reach Luxor in the middle of the morning or the beginning of the afternoon. You report to your tour guide at the beginning so as to shorten the waiting time for a guided tour.
Visit the Karnak Temple Complex: Anticipating to explore the colossal Karnak temple complex consecrated to Amun, the god, move straight to it. Find the most inspiring temples, monuments, columns, and so on having a guide.
Visit the West Bank: Next, after lunch get across the Western part of the Nile River to the Luxor’s west bank. Travel to the Valley of the Kings; this is where you will enjoy the opportunity to marvel at the tombs of full-time rulers including the tomb of Tutankhamun (an additional ticket required). Spend time in the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a memorial temple sculpted out of cliffs, where the great pharaoh embarked on her legendary journey.
The first place to be on your bucket list as an Amenhotep III lover must be to go to the Colossi of Memnon which are stone statues depicting the pharaoh.
Late Afternoon: Love El Gouna Depart from Luxor in the late afternoon, around 4 or 5 PM, to return to El Gouna. During your travel home, enjoy the scenery along the way and make a field trip in your mind.
Evening: Come back to El Gouna at the end of the day, around 9 pm or later, depending on traffic and road conditions
Through your transfer, to the hotel or accommodation rest after the extended tour.
