Day 1: Airport to Hotel.

Arrival at Cairo airport, meet and assist by our representative, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Pyramids, Sphinx, and Saqqara.

On your first tour in Egypt, you visit the only ancient wonder which still exists, the great pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Minkawre. 8They were not the first pyramids built in Egypt, but they are the most preserved and the greatest of them. The sphinx was built to guard them. Then proceed to Saqqara where the genius Architect Imhotep built the step pyramid. This pyramid was the first attempt at using rocks to build a huge building in History. The pyramid was dedicated to king Djoser from the third dynasty. (Breakfast only)

Day 3: Alexandria.

Alexandria was the capital of Egypt during the Graeco_ Roman period in Egypt and was also the greatest city of the Hellenistic civilization. images

Drive to Alexandria for a day trip to visit its major sites there as; the Pompey Pillar, the Catacombs of el Shaqafa, and the Library of Alexandria. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

Drive back to Cairo. (B, and L only )

Day 4: Egyptian Museum & Citadel of Saladin

Today, you will visit the impressive Egyptian Museum. This museum is located in the downtown of Cairo and has thousands of pieces from different times of Egyptian history, with the astonishing collection of king Tutankhamen. Then you continue to the citadel of Saladin. End your tour with the largest bazaar of the Middle East, the well popular bazaar of Khan El Khalili, which is a very famous place of herbs, spices, leather goods, and a very big range of incense. Day 5: Fly to Hurghada.

Transfer to Cairo airport for a short flight to Hurghada. Meet and assist by our representative, who transfers you to your hotel. (All inclusive)zitronenfalter-fish-380037_1280

Day 10: Karnak & Luxor temples.

Now, you drive for about four hours to Luxor to start your Nile cruise.

Lunch is on board, then visit the East bank of Luxor, which includes the impressive temple of Karnak and the majestic Luxor temple.

The two temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad, Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Overnight is in Luxor. ( B, L, D)

Day 11: Luxor West bank.

Today you visit the West Bank of Luxor which includes, the Valley of Kings, which was known as Ta_Maat, (The Land of Justice and Truth), and was dedicated to the royal tombs.cropped-1509224_10201088243483061_1404205093_n.jpg 65 tombs are now found at the valley of the kings, and all of them are cut deep into the rock. The largest of them are Seti I, Ramses III, Hormoheb, Merenptah, and Hatshepsut, but not all of them are opened to the public. Then proceed to the unique temple of Hatshepsut. It is the only temple of Egypt built in three terraces. She built it to confirm her status as the pharaoh of Egypt.  You end this tour by a photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon.

The ship sails to Edfu via the Lock of Esna and overnight in Edfu. ( B, L, D )

Day 12: Edfu & Kom Ombo temples.

You will take a horse carriage to visit the temple of Edfu, which is dedicated to Horus. This is the most intact temple in Egypt. It was built during the Graeco_Roman period in Egypt. Then sail to Kom Ombo to visit its temple, which is dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus and crocodile-headed Sobek, after that sail to Aswan.

Overnight is in Aswan. (B, L, D)

Day 13: Aswan Highlights.

Today, you will visit the Granite Quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk, you will know the ancient technique of cutting and modeling a giant obelisk of a single piece of granite. 24Then proceed to the High Dam which built during the time of president Nasser. You end your tour with the pearl of Egypt, the temple of goddess Isis at the island of Philae. A motorboat ride is required to reach the island.

After lunch, take the felucca sailboat ride around the Elephantine and Botanical garden.

Overnight is in Aswan. (B, L, D)

Day 14: Fly back to Cairo.

After breakfast, you drive to Aswan airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo airport to your hotel. (breakfast only)

Day 15: Fly Home.

Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to Cairo airport for final departure. (breakfast only)
