Your day trip to Philae temple We will commence our tour with a motorboat ride to The Temple of Philae to visit to the Pearl of Egypt, the temple of the goddess ISIS. Building of this temple began in 280 BC and was completed in 80 BC.
All of the structures of Philae were dismantled into 40000 pieces and moved the island of Agilkia, which bears the name of Philae before the Aswan High Dam was built. The real Philae was lost under the water.
Following our visit to Philae we will make our way to the western end of the High Dam to take a motorboat ride to New Kalabsha.
