You will also have the chance to discuss the itinerary for the next few days.
Your Egypt travel package will feature breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to Pompey's Pillar, a monumental structure in honor of Emperor Diocletian standing originally from the temple of the god Serapis. The impressive pillar provided stiff competition to both the Soma and the Caesarean.
Your next destination will be the Catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa, the largest Roman cemetery in the world. Thereafter, have lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria before heading to Qaitbay Citadel, built upon the site of the ancient lighthouse. The citadel stands in all its architectural glory as a historical witness for Egypt.
After such a long day of sightseeing, you will be transported back to the hotel to relax.
(Breakfast and Lunch are included.)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before the Giza Pyramids and Egyptian Museum tours. Your tour guide will meet you at the lounge of the hotel in Alexandria to start a wonderful day in Cairo. You will visit the three pyramids of King Khufu, Chephren, and Mecernius. The largest, Khufu's Pyramid, was built by his father, Sneferu, and his mother, Queen Hattab Haras I. Thereafter, you will visit the Pyramid of Chephren (Khafre) and the smallest of the three, the Pyramid of Mecernius (Menkaure).
You will also stand in front of the legendary Sphinx, an imposing statue with the body of a lion and head of a human, which guards the entire pyramid complex. The king's mummified body was kept at the Valley Temple, which is close by. Have your lunch meal before heading to the Egyptian Museum. The museum lies on Tahrir Square with two huge floors, displaying over 160,000 rare archaeological artifacts, including mummies of Egyptian pharaohs. After visiting the museum, we will take you back to Alexandria to rest at the hotel.

In Egypt, Cairo is considered to be the most luxurious city to visit. This place offers an intriguing combination of ancient past and modern-day luxuries with world-class five-star hotels, fine dining, high-end shopping, and exclusive cultural venues. Zamalek, New Cairo, and Maadi are popular for their lavish accommodation and line of services.

The Pyramids are located outside Cairo and, together with the Sphinx, receive a great number of visitors on an annual basis, intent upon uncovering Egypt's mythical history.
