Tag 01 Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel And Khan El Khalili
Upon arrival at the port of Alexandria, our Egyptologist will greet you outside the exit gate of your cruise, holding a sign with your name. After that, a private two-day Alexandria port trip to Cairo will be escorted.
The Egyptian Museum:
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. It includes more than 120 thousand archaeological pieces on display, and the rest are in storage. The museum has two main floors, the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor, there are some coins and papyrus. There are also some artifacts from the New Kingdom.
On the first floor, there are some artifacts from dynasties 29 and 30, with some items from the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, in particular the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamon. Two special rooms contain some mummies.

Saladin’s Citadel:
The Saladin Citadel is the most visited Islamic spot in Cairo. The citadel was built during the time of Saladin in Egypt (1176–1183). The main purpose was to defend Cairo, so it was built in a very strategic position. During the 19th century, Mohamed Ali built his popular mosque there, which is known as Mohamed Ali mosque.
Khan El Khalili:
Khan el Khalili is the largest bazaar and market in the Middle East. It represents the market tradition that established Cairo as a major trade center. Khan was located in the middle of Cairo, and some commercial establishments were built nearby. There is a big collection of shops, workshops, and coffee shops.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant, where you can sample traditional dishes such as kosher, falafel, or grilled kebabs.
Tag 02 Giza Pyramids and Saqqara

The Giza Pyramids and Sphinx:
The Giza plateau is in the vast desert, the land of the dead. Guarded by the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, the plateau is dominated by the massive pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. To the south of the Great Sphinx lies the cemetery and Town of the Pyramids Builders.
Notes: Tickets for entry inside the pyramids aren’t included.
Saqqara:
Saqqara lies on the west bank of the Nile. It is a very vast burial ground and served as the cemetery of Memphis, the first capital of Egypt. It includes the famous step pyramid of Djoser and some other mastabas. The Step Pyramid Complex is the oldest stone structure in history.
Some pyramids were built at Saqqara by the kings of the 5th and 6th dynasties, such as Userkaf, Unas, Pepi I, and Pepi II. Some private tombs of the Old Kingdom were built there. The best-known tombs are those of Ti, Kagemni, Ptah Hotep, and Meruruka. Know more about this through Cairo attraction.

Finally, your tour guide will accompany you back to Alexandria Port, concluding your comprehensive sightseeing journey. You will be dropped off directly at the cruise ship inside Alexandria Port.
